Is my data private?
Yes — Defter is on-device by default. Your accounts, balances, transactions, and budgets live on your iPhone, not on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How do I connect accounts?
In Settings → Connect bank. You can pull in Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Apple Savings through Apple Wallet, or connect other US banks through our opt-in bank connection. Both are optional.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Account & data → Delete all on-device data wipes everything from your iPhone. If you used the optional bank connection, Settings → Account & data → Delete account also removes that. Uninstalling removes all on-device data too.
What do I need to run it?
An iPhone on iOS 17 or later.
